Hi! My Name is Pete Wilhelm, AKA DJ YOUNG PETE! Since 2014 I have been DJ’ing & Entertaining audiences of all ages in Upstate New York & The Capital District. I work with my clients to understand their vision for their event and provide a memorable experience for them and their guests to enjoy. I take pride in my ability to read the room and guide the energy of patrons through communication and choosing the right music, at the right time, to compliment your special occasion. I’ve DJ’d private parties for as few as 20 people, to community events with over 200 people. I enjoy what I do and it shows when I engage with my audience.

The typical process goes like this…
Step-1 (consultation):
You may book the initial phone consultation via email from our email form (shown below). The consultation is free and no obligation.
Step-2 (the follow-up):
After our initial phone consultation where we’ll discuss the details of your event and both of our expectations, I will send an Agreement that outlines the details of the requested services.
Step-3 (deposit):
After you review and approve the Agreement, a deposit will be due (non-refundable), which is put towards your overall investment for the agreed-upon services.
Step-4 (planning ahead):
Once I have received your signed Agreement and Deposit, we will work together on curating a playlist of songs that you and your guests will enjoy. We will finalize your order of events and playlist one (1) month prior to your event. At that time the remaining balance will be due in full.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How much does an event cost?
A: Your total amount depends on the equipment and services needed at your event. Depending on the venue, travel distance, or time of year; you may have to pay additional for travel, liability, or lodging. These rates are industry standard with all Mobile DJs.

Q: Where do you host events?
A: Wilhelm Entertainment is based out of Moreau, NY. Venues outside of a 40 mile radius are subject to Travel Fees. Travel over 80 miles will also include a lodging fee. Tolls will be factored in as well.
Q: How many people can you accommodate?
A: 200 Max Indoors, 150 Max Outdoor
Q: How involved are you with guests and music selection?
A: Whether you want your event to be EXACTLY as you have planned it, or would like to see collaboration based on your needs and preferences; Wilhelm Entertainment can accommodate!

Q: What forms of Payment are Acceptable?

Q: Do I need a DJ/MC?
A: Good Questions! If you are just looking to play music with you and a small party of 15, probably not. If you are looking for a professional DJ who has 10+ years experience entertaining private parties of at least 20, or hosting community events with over 100 people in attendance, and want to create a memorable, and entertaining experience for you and your guests to enjoy; then yes I’d be happy to be your DJ/MC!

Q: Is there a Deposit?
A: There is a $200 booking fee that will secure your event time & date. This is a non-refundable amount that will go towards your total balance. Cash, check, and Venmo is accepted
